CCX offers a range of opportunities to engage with the theology of church planting, from input in all our courses to our doctorate degree in Church Planting and Pioneering. Why? Because robust theological input not only helps avoid mistakes, but also makes for exciting, healthy church plants that are in step with the Spirit.  And we can learn and improve both our theology and our practice as we reflect on our church planting theologically, ideally with others.

Our range of resources presents biblical, historical and systematic theology, aiming humbly to follow God in understanding and practising church planting and pioneering, in today’s many contexts. All our theology is taught by practitioners and works from the model of reflecting on practice and moving to action. Our Doctor of Ministry in Church Planting and Pioneering degree is offered in partnership with Asbury Theological Seminary, USA.

Let those who boast in this, that they understand and know me, that I am the LORD (Jeremiah 9: 24)

An unchurchly mission is as much a monstrosity as an unmissionary Church
