The Plant Course equips and prepares church planting teams in the why, what and how of starting a new church community
We recommend taking part as part of a live cohort, learning with those who participate alongside you. You’ll benefit from facilitation, coaching and the knowledge of those in the room travelling a similar journey, alongside the insights of experienced practitioners. After two months, you’ll have shaped the first years of a new worshipping community, gaining an understanding of how to thrive with your church planting team.
The Plant Course is for leaders and core team members who are planning to plant something in a new place with new people in the next 6-9 months. You are required to have the approval from your relevant denominational authority, the backing of your sending church or organisation, an intended launch date and location.
A live facilitated course is not always accessible. We want to make the content of the course as accessible as possible. You can use it to help you think through your planting ideas, to gather your team around or to prepare you to join a future Plant Course.
