
Bishop Sarah Mullally

Bishop Sarah is Diocesan Bishop of London and Area Bishop for the Two Cities. She is also Dean of His Majesty’s Chapels Royal and a member of the House of Lords and Privy Counsellor.
Bishop Sarah seeks to shape her ministry around hospitality, wellbeing and hope. In all that she does, she seeks to witness to the love of Christ, which brings hope and healing.
Prior to ordination Bishop Sarah was a nurse, and from 1999 to 2004 was Chief Nursing Officer for England and the National Health Service’s Director of Patient Experience for England. She brings this experience to her current role and has worked to raise awareness of health inequalities and other matters relating to healthcare during her time in the House of Lords.
Bishop Sarah is Chair of Trustees of Christian Aid and a trustee and patron of several charities.
