Myriad Oversight Pathway Summer 2025
A course developed by Myriad and CPAS to raise awareness of lay planting and role of oversight ministry with ordained leaders.
The Oversight Pathway, developed by CCX and CPAS, is for church leaders who hold responsibility for the oversight of lay, everyday planters of new church communities who are in a Myriad learning pathway.
Description: Three 2hr online sessions exploring:
- Context (new reality and role) and agile leadership;
- The world of the lay, everyday planters of new church communities;
- Nurturing developing and releasing planters of new church communities
Outcomes: By the end of the course you will have:
- Explored the benefits and challenges of oversight ministry
- Embraced a framework for understanding oversight ministry theologically
- Registered the extent of the culture change oversight ministry represents
- Defined your role in oversight ministry with specific regard to lay church planting
- Outlined the skills you will need
- Understood the skills church planters will need
- Developed a plan for working as an oversight minister with lay church planters
The Myriad Oversight Pathway is offered online and is open to all church leaders who will be overseeing a lay planter within the Myriad learning pathway. The summer sessions are planned for:
- Tuesday 6 May, 9.30 am – 11.30 am
- Tuesday 13 May, 9.30 am – 11.30 am
- Tuesday 20 May, 9.30 am – 11.30 am
