Rhiannon King
Bishop of Southampton
Rhiannon King was consecrated as the Suffragan Bishop of Southampton on 18 October 2024.
She previously served as the Archdeacon of Ipswich, and as a director of Inspiring Ipswich, a seven-year church-growth initiative across the region. Bishop Rhiannon is also a trustee of the project Leading your Church into Growth.
She holds a special passion for starting new worshipping communities of all shapes and sizes, across estates and inner-urban ministry settings, and working with asylum-seekers and refugees. She loves helping ordinary churches to grow in depth, in number and to grow younger and more diverse.
