Chris Russell

Chris is the Archbishop of Canterbury’s adviser for Evangelism and Witness. Previously he was vicar of St Laurence Reading for 19 years – a multi generation church which lives to see young people come to faith and build new forms of church with them. His book ‘Yearning for the Vast and Endless Sea: the Good News about the good news’ was published in February by Canterbury Press. Married to the universally popular Belinda with three adult daughters who all run rings round him. Life is too short to drink bad coffee, read poorly written books, listen to awful music and not spend as much time as possible with friends.
