Alan Moss

Alan is the Associate/Pioneer Estates Priest of St Mary’s Church, Walthamstow. He leads an SDF project on two estates where he serves over 350 young people every week, using practices of community organising to empower residents to create positive, meaningful change.

Alan has over 20 years of experience in youth work, previously planting a church for young people and supporting the Diocese of Chelmsford in developing its digital mission programme. He was brought up on an East London estate, and has a background in welding, landscape gardening, and a love of tattoos. He is married to Sarah, also a Church of England priest.
