Alison Duncanson

Chartered Psychologist & Executive Coach

Alison is a chartered psychologist and executive coach with more than 20 years’ experience in corporate life, both in the UK and internationally. Her expertise is in organisational change, leadership assessment and development, work-life balance and transition. Some of her clients include Coca-Cola, London Business School, BP, HSBC, Sainsbury’s and Virgin Atlantic.

Alison has worked on the Grow Course since 2018 as a coach and a course facilitator. She is passionate about using her skills to support church leaders. She has been involved in mentoring, organisational review and leadership development in her own church in Essex, as well as Leadership coaching for Resource churches in the London Diocese.

She is a member of the Special Group of Coaching Psychologists and has a degree in psychology, an MSc in occupational and organisational psychology, and a diploma in coaching. Alison tutors at City Lit (London adult education college), designing and teaching a range of courses in leadership, change and wellbeing. She has also trained as a retreat guide with Crossroads Retreats, a charity that helps people on their life/career journeys.

Alison’s coaching style is one of encouragement, empathy, and insight. Her years of experience working with leaders in varied and changing settings enable her to get up to speed quickly with the unique needs and challenges of your context and to provide an objective yet compassionate perspective on your leadership and church growth.
