Mixed ecology is part of the Church of England’s vision – where parish churches are complemented by church plants, fresh expressions and a range of other creative Christian communities.  One aspect of that requires particular thought in the Church of England is the legalities. This might include permission to plant where there is already another parish church using a Bishop’s Mission Order (BMO) or setting up a charity (e.g. a Charitable Incorporated Organisation or CIO) with a separate bank account.
