Exercise

In this video, Marie offers a simple tool to help you map people’s journey as they invest more and more into your church.

Take some time now to draw this table on a piece of paper:

1. Write down which are the opportunities you can take to help people at each step of their involvement in your church. Make sure to answer questions such as: What’s missing? What have you spotted? How can you help?
2. Next, write down what kind of training is available to help people as they invest more of their time and energy. What do your people need, at each stage of their journey?
3. Lastly, write down what you can change right now, and what actions you can plan for the future. What actions can you take in 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months, to help support your congregation?

Once you are done, make sure to share your thoughts with your team.
